Level: Beginner
What you will need:
- Worsted Weight 100% Cotton Yarn
- US size 8 (5mm) Knitting Needles
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle
Directions
Cast on 22 Stitches, leaving a long tail.
Rows 1-17: Knit 1, Purl 1 (2.5 inches)
Rows 18-72: Knit all rows (8-9 inches)
Rows 73-90: Knit 1, Purl 1 (2.5 inches)
Cast off, leaving a long tail
Finish: Using a tapestry needle, fold over one of the ends of the ribbon. Take the long tail attached to that end and sew closed both sides, creating a pocket. Repeat this process on the other ribboned side. Once you finish, cut the yarn, ensuring that it’s tucked in securely.
Make them as a gift in any color or make a whole set for yourself. Follow the machine wash on the yarn label.
