Scrappy Yarn Beanie Knitting Pattern

Things to know before knitting

  • Best if you use the same weight of yarn. I used all the same brand and type, so I knew my gauge would stay the same.

  • I used about 9 of the same size scrap balls of yarn. However, if the balls vary in size, you may use more or fewer.

  • I grab all of my scrap yarn balls and attach them in the order I think would look best. Making one bigger ball of yarn. Use the magic knot method

DO NOT CAST OFF. Cut a tail of yarn that is at least 5 inches long. Using a yarn needle, thread the tail through the remaining stitches on the needle and carefully slide the stitches off. All the stitches should now be on the tail. Pull the tail tight to cinch the opening closed. Finally, tie off the yarn and weave in any loose ends.

You can make each aht totally unique by using different color combos
